Summit by Olson Kundig
Since their founding in 1966, Olson Kundig has created a body of work that unites architecture and design with nature, culture, and art.
DESIGN IN HARMONY WITH THE LANDSCAPE
Every sightline at Summit is intentional. Rather than sitting atop the terrain, the architecture feels as though it was dug out of the mountain itself—crafted from raw, honest materials that mirror the land. Olson Kundig treats the desert panorama as living art, perfectly framing views of Camelback Mountain and the valley floor from your private sanctuary. Summit isn’t designed to merely look at the landscape; it is engineered to open to it. Through signature kinetic elements and seamless glass thresholds, the boundary between your living room and the high desert disappears at your touch.
AWARD-WINNING DESIGN
Widely published, Olson Kundig has been recognized with some of the industry’s highest honors, including a National Design Award in Architecture Design from the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, an Academy Award in Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and induction into Interior Design Magazine’s Hall of Fame. They have been included on Architectural Digest’s AD100 list sixteen times and named one of Fast Company’s Top Ten Most Innovative Companies in Architecture four times. Their collaborative team have received more than 130 national, regional, and local design honors from the American Institute of Architects programs, as well as awards from the International Interior Design Association, the Chicago Athenaeum, and other organizations of peers.
CONCEIVED FOR MODERN DESERT LIVING
The collection comprises 63 residences ranging from one bedroom plus den to three bedrooms plus den, with interiors spanning ~1,500 to more than 4,800 SF. Living spaces open onto expansive terraces that frame mountain and desert views. Hardwood flooring and solid interior doors lend warmth and substance, while signature Olson Kundig fireplaces combining millwork and metal anchor each great room. Built-in barbecues and fire tables create a special setting for entertaining outdoors.

BULTHAUP KITCHENS
The kitchen designs are a unique collaboration between Olson Kundig and bulthaup, with state-of-the-art Sub-Zero and Wolf Contemporary Series appliances. Each home features full-height wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, and an aluminum island, while optional upgrades include pull-out pantries, small appliance garages, and wine fridges.
At Summit, your kitchen isn’t just fitted with luxury cabinetry—it is built with bulthaup, the global gold standard of Bavarian engineering and the architect’s choice worldwide. Known for its floating, wall-mounted architecture and obsessive tactile precision, bulthaup treats the kitchen not as a collection of appliances, but as a seamlessly integrated sculpture. Crafted with authentic materials, whisper-soft mechanics, and hidden functional intelligence, it perfectly echoes Olson Kundig’s structural vision: converting the raw utility of cooking into a quiet, effortless ritual.
SPA-LIKE BATHROOMs
Fixtures from Waterworks Bond collection add sleek, modern sculptural elements to bathrooms. The Collection represents a level of soul and artistry rarely found in modern bath design. Highly versatile, it inhabits the full range of modern style, from the austerity of disciplined minimalism to the relaxed appeal of warm contemporary.
Elevated En SUITES
Primary bathrooms feature a full-height, glass-enclosed shower, free-standing tub, and generous walk-in closet. Interior design honors Camelback by introducing stone in primary bathroom showers and vanities.
The primary ensuite's shower features a tiled bench, product niche, and Waterworks fixtures that merge beautiful form and immaculate function. Stonework nods to the mountain’s geology.

THE TK COLLECTION
Architectural detail weaves through the interiors in the form of the TK Collection, where Olson Kundig’s signature precision and craft is embodied in cabinet pulls, rollers, door handles, and other features. These are the details that create what Tom Kundig calls “the handshake of the building”—the moments when homeowners physically touch, open, and engage with their homes. Intentionally crafted to be both beautiful and tactile, the collection celebrates these everyday points of connection, transforming functional elements into expressions of materiality, character, and design.
